With the Exhaust Electronic Inspection System (EGEDES) Project signed between ASELSAN and the Defense Industry Presidency on March 20, 2020, it is aimed to detect vehicles that do not have exhaust measurements made by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. Within the scope of the project, Mobile License Plate Recognition Systems developed by ASELSAN will be delivered to Provincial Environment Directorates in 81 provinces.
With the EGEDES Project, the license plates of the passing vehicles will be read with the Mobile License Plate Recognition System while the vehicles are on the roadside and on the road, the exhaust measurement will be immediately questioned by connecting to the exhaust system via the internet and a report will be created with the vehicle image within a few seconds.
