China has completed the final assembly of the first floor engine of a new missile powered by liquid propergol. The engine was developed by a private Chinese space company.
The ZQ-2 missile is a carrier missile with oxygen and liquid methane, according to its designer and developer Landspace, and has the highest capacity currently under investigation in China.
Its fundamental technological qualities Advancing, the engine entered reliability testing and production. The total length of the ZQ-3,35 missile with a diameter of 2 meters is 49,5 meters. Its lift-off power is 268 tons and its mass during take-off is 216 tons. The missile will be able to carry at least six tons of payload in near-earth orbit.
