Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has started the construction of bicycle paths as well as sewerage and road works in Ula. The Metropolitan Municipality is building a 900-meter bicycle path on Cumhuriyet Avenue and Gökalp Gündüz Street in Ula.
33 Kilometer Bicycle Road Has Been Built Across the City
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has built 13 kilometers of bicycle paths in 33 districts throughout the province. The teams continue to work to increase the bicycle paths in Muğla's districts.
Emphasizing that bicycle use is important for social life and health, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gürün stated that they attach great importance to bicycle paths to encourage citizens to use bicycles and to pedal healthily with their loved ones.
President Gürün; “With its clean air and perfect nature, the best means of transportation where we can understand the beauties of Muğla is undoubtedly the bicycle. We think that it is very beneficial to explore these beauties by loading the pedal with our full power, to breathe the clean air and most importantly for our health. We have built 33 km of bicycle paths for our citizens who want to use bicycles in urban traffic. Our bicycle path works continue in Ula, the charming town of Muğla. Our bicycle paths will suit Ula, which is one of our districts with the most bicycles. " said.
