High School Exams Statement from Minister Selçuk! Are High School Exams Canceled? Are High School Exams Postponed? When Will The Exams Be Held?

Minister Selçuk stated the following in his post on his social media account:

Dear Young People,

Be sure to hear your voice and read your posts. During the epidemic, we make our decisions together with educators and physicians. We watch the course of the epidemic daily. We develop a consensus on what is risky and what is necessary based on data. As a result of these meetings, our village schools and kindergartens have already started face-to-face education. On March 1, primary school 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade students and 8th and 12th grade students start their face-to-face education. All our preparations are complete at the point of epidemic measures so that we can only carry out your exams face to face. 40% of our students, almost half of you, have already completed their exams.

A postponement of your exams today will increase your study load more in the near future. It will also prevent us from detecting your situation and designing support programs suitable for your needs. This is why it is so critical to work on time in order not to build up problems for the coming years.

Your health is always our priority in our decisions. Your support and cooperation are important to us. We will overcome these days with effort together. Please focus on your lessons and your health. I sincerely thank you all.
