Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu and AK Party Istanbul Deputy Rümeysa Kadak met with the youth within the scope of the visit to the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) International Cyber Incidents Response Center (USOM).
Minister Karaismailoğlu, who listened to the opinions of young people and took their questions about Internet access, fiber infrastructure, internet service providers, social media, Internet access, fiber infrastructure, shared the work done at the relevant institutions and the projects planned to be implemented with the youth.
"We are working on expanding the fiber infrastructure"
Stating that fiber internet infrastructure was built in new buildings but not in old settlements, young people asked Minister Karaismailoğlu about the spread of fiber infrastructure. Stating that they are working towards making investments in line with the demands of citizens, Karaismailoğlu said, “We direct operators to increase their fiber infrastructure investments. With the necessary studies, we ensure that the ratio of fiber to households is increased ”.

Youth of Turkey's future and hope that Karaismailoğlu Minister stressed, "We care about the needs of young people. Internet and internet speed, which are the most important and important issues of our youth, are among our top priorities. After the Q&A session, Minister Karaismailoğlu, who visited USOM with Deputy Rümaysa Kadak and young people, talked about the interventions in cyber incidents at national and international scale with the central authorities and answered the questions of young people.
