The Decision on the Extension of the Short Work Allowance Period is in the Official Gazette

The President's Decision stating that the duration of the short-work allowance, initiated due to the Kovid-19 outbreak, was extended until March 31, 2021, was published in the Official Gazette.

The Decision on Extending the Duration of Short Work Allowance for Workplaces with Compelling Reason within the Scope of Periodic Situations Caused by External Impacts Due to Covid-19 ”was published in the Official Gazette on February 19, 2021 and entered into force.

According to the decision, within the framework of the principles specified in the provisional article 4447 of the "Unemployment Insurance Law" numbered 23, the workplaces that applied for short work until 19 January 31 (including this date) for compelling reasons within the scope of periodic situations caused by external effects due to Covid-2021. The duration of the short-time work allowance, without being limited to the extension period within the scope of the additional article 2 of the aforementioned Law, within the framework of the principles specified in the President's Decree No. 29 of June 2020, 2706, and the 22-month period extended by the President's Decree No. It was extended until March 2020, 3317, starting later.
