How Do We Reduce Increasing Natural Gas Bills In Winter?

How can we reduce the natural gas bills in winter?

While consumers' spending more time in their homes due to the pandemic is negatively reflected on the bills, new remedies are being considered in order not to negatively affect the amount of bills with the increase in natural gas prices.

Stating that the most effective solution to prevent the increase in natural gas and electricity bills is to make thermal insulation and energy saving in buildings, Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin, in addition to reminding the hikes for natural gas and electricity, emphasized that citizens are not desperate for hikes:

Most of the money spent from the consumers' budget flies away in homes that can't be heated or cooled. The most energy leakage in buildings occurs in buildings without thermal insulation. Approximately 37 percent of energy is consumed in living areas such as residences. In addition, approximately 80 percent of the total energy consumed is used for heating and cooling. New remedies are being considered in order not to be adversely affected by rising natural gas prices and rising bills due to the cooling of the weather.

SAVING IS POSSIBLE WITH THERMAL INSULATION

Stating that consumers spend more natural gas to heat their homes due to heat loss in buildings, Energy Efficiency in Buildings Association (VERIMDER) Executive Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin said, “Natural gas consumption is also decreasing in buildings with thermal insulation as the hot air is prevented from escaping in winter. This is reflected on invoices automatically. Heat losses in an uninsulated building cause consumers to consume more natural gas and increase their bills. With thermal insulation applications, it is possible to save half of the natural gas bills ”.

SAVE NOT BY CONSUMING LOW, BUT CONSERING HEAT!

In most of the buildings in Turkey and stating that the thermal insulation of wasted energy used to heat half the housing VERİMD Executive Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin said, “Unfortunately, energy saving in our country is interpreted as using less energy. The most important effort we make in this regard is not to use less energy and expose the spaces to a weak air conditioning, but to provide the same efficiency by consuming less energy. The way to keep the indoor temperature high is not to increase the temperature but to maintain the heat in the house. "You can prevent hot air from coming out in winter and hot air from entering in in summer with thermal insulation."

A SAVING OF 7 BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR IS POSSIBLE WITH THERMAL INSULATION!

Emphasizing that imported energy causes a further expansion of our country's current account deficit, Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin “The application of heat insulation to save energy, especially in houses, has a positive impact on both the consumer and the economy of our country. With the correct energy saving practices to be implemented in European Union standards, there is an opportunity to save about 21 billion dollars annually in a total of 7 million houses in our country.

WHY SHOULD WE DO THERMAL INSULATION?

  • Half of the energy used to heat the house during the winter months is wasted due to the uninsulated exterior. Half of the natural gas bill you pay every month evaporates due to heat loss.
  • Reducing high natural gas bills is only possible with thermal insulation.
  • In addition to saving, external thermal insulation also prevents bacteria, fungus, black stains and mold caused by condensation on the outer surface of the building.
  • Thermal insulation ruins the building's carrier system.tubeIt extends its life by keeping it away from t, and increases its value.
