As announced by the Ministry of Health, some regulations have been made in railway transportation within the scope of the normalization calendar that will begin gradually as of March 1, 2021.
According to the statement made by TCDD Tasimacilik A.Ş; As of March 1, 2021, tickets for high-speed trains will be offered for sale 15 days before the day of travel, while the practice of serving with a 50 percent capacity with diagonal seating arrangement will be terminated.
High-speed trains serving on the Ankara-Eskişehir, Ankara-İstanbul, Ankara-Konya and Konya-Eskişehir-İstanbul lines; It will make 20 trips on weekdays and 12 on weekends.
As it is known, since May 28, 2020, high-speed trains have been serving with a cross-seating arrangement with a capacity of 50 percent due to pandemic conditions, while ticket sales were made 5 days in advance.
