China continued to ship Covid-19 vaccine to other countries during the Spring Festival holiday. Ministry of Foreign Affairs SözcüSü Hua Chunying gave information about the Covid-19 vaccine shipment during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday at the daily press conference. Hua Chunying, Spring Day in Zimbabwe, Turkey, Peru, Morocco, Senegal, Hungary and the United Arab Emirates noted that seven countries including the Covidien-19 vaccine delivery is made.

Hua Chunying, referring to the call of United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to prepare a global Covid-19 vaccine plan, emphasized that China supports Guterres's efforts to distribute vaccines fairly and deliver them to more countries. Hua said that under the current circumstances, China is open to all calls that will be useful for the fair distribution of vaccines and is ready to strengthen contact and coordination with other parties. Hua called on the parties to make joint efforts to prevent "vaccine nationalism" and to ensure fair distribution of vaccines, underlining that China is ready to strengthen cooperation with other parties in the fields of vaccination and epidemic prevention.

“China participated in WHO's global COVID-19 vaccine and treatment program (ACT Accelerator), continuing its vaccine development cooperation with more than 10 countries. China has also been involved in WHO's global vaccine plan known as COVAX. At the request of WHO, it decided to provide 10 million doses of Chinese-made vaccine under the COVAX plan to meet the urgent needs of developing countries. China has also already provided vaccination assistance to 53 developing countries in demand. China has exported vaccines to 22 countries that approve the emergency use of vaccines. At the same time, China will help other countries ship the vaccine as semi-finished products. "China has decided to donate vaccines to UN peacekeepers," he said.
