Çeşme-Taşucu highway tender, which will reduce the distance between Mersin and Antalya to 4 hours, has been completed. The highway, which is open to traffic between Adana-Mersin and Çeşme, is extended to the Taşucu Port connection of Silifke.
According to the news of Kamil Cömertler from Sabah newspaper; “The Çeşme-Taşucu highway tender, which will connect Mersin to Antalya as soon as possible, was made. After the completion of the highway connection between Çeşme and Taşucu, which is expected to be hit in early March, travel from Taşucu port to the TRNC will be facilitated.
With the completion of the 100-kilometer-long motorway, it will be possible to reach the city center from Anamur, the most remote district of Mersin, in two hours.
After the completion of the motorway to be built within the scope of the Mediterranean highway project, a great improvement will be achieved in the tourism of the Region.
