Liao Liqiang, Chinese Ambassador to Cairo, announced that China will donate new coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines to the General Secretariat of Egypt and the Arab League.

At the press conference held yesterday, Liao Liqiang underlined that vaccines are an important part of China and Egypt's cooperation in combating the epidemic.

Stating that a group of vaccines will be donated to Egypt in a short time, Liao also stated that it will be easier to purchase Chinese vaccines for Egypt.

Liao said China's vaccine donation reflects the deep friendship between the leaders and peoples of the two countries.

Ambassador Liao stated that China will also donate vaccines to the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

In addition, it has been reported that China will donate COVID-19 vaccine to some countries, including Cambodia and Laos.
