Our bridge, which was designed considering the high wind speeds in the region, has been tested against the most unfavorable wind effects that will occur both during the operation period and during the construction and successfully passed these tests. The tower foundations of our bridge were reinforced with steel piles and the immersed caisson type foundation positioned on the ground was chosen against major earthquakes.
“Production in European and Asian Anchor blocks was 99 percent. Suspension Rope and Deck Manufacturing continues in the related factories. Within the scope of installation works of 1915 Çanakkale Bridge Cat Road service platform; Installation of Catwalk laying and side railings has also ended. "

“The ferry crossing continuing through the Dardanelles was causing an unbearable ordeal for both passengers and the people of Çanakkale, especially during the summer months. Our bridge will eliminate all these difficulties and will radically change life in Çanakkale and its region. The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge will reduce the passage time from the Dardanelles Strait to six minutes, which is a 30-minute ferry crossing but often hours with a waiting time. When the project is completed, the annual time saving amount will reach 465 million lira, and the fuel savings amount will reach 102 million lira. In short, we will save 567 million lira each year.
