Passport Pier, which was renovated by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality on October 29, was put into service again. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor welcomed the first passengers of the pier, which was opened for use with its renewed face. Tunç Soyer, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality General Secretary Dr. Buğra Gökçe, Deputy Secretary General Eser Atak, and İZDENİZ General Manager Ümit Yılmaz were welcomed. President Soyer, Prof. Dr. He presented the daffodil bouquets bought by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality from Karaburun producers to the passengers who came to the pier by the ferry named Aziz Sancar. Floating dock was used temporarily

Since the start of the renovation on October 29, service at the pier has been provided from the temporary floating pier. Within the scope of the works, bearing steel constructions, wooden floor coverings and guardrails on the pedestrian road providing access to the scaffold were renewed. All wooden floor coverings and balustrades in the area where the ships approach were also meticulously overhauled.

The floating dock, which serves temporarily, will return to Urla after the weather conditions improve.
