Sales, on the other hand, are generally made in Turkish Lira, except for maritime and aviation sales. During this period, devaluation of 30 percent and inflation of 14 percent created serious cost pressure. With the effect of the pandemic, we had a really difficult year for the producers to reflect this pressure on the market. We tried to meet at least some of this pressure with the austerity measures we have taken within our organization. We will continue these austerity measures in the upcoming period. As Turkish employees and managers, we are used to working in such environments. With the measures we have taken and the movements in the market, we managed this process well, as always, and we will continue to manage it well ”.

The predictions made by our global planning department; Covidien-19 as one of the least affected due to the economy and to determine countries in terms of oil sales to Turkey and would advise us to revise our targets accordingly. In addition, it was drawing a growth projection in 2021 that increased it even more than the current year. We made our plans accordingly. We said that we will be aggressive in 2020 and increase our presence in the field. Target will decrease our production in Turkey, we can consider the more the industry will develop. In this context, one of our predictions was that people turned to domestic tourism with the pandemic. With the transition to the new normal in June, everyone will start to go on holiday for domestic tourism with their vehicles, we thought that cars will be used more than in the past. As a matter of fact, it was like that ”he said.

In this way, we succeeded in meeting the demand for oil consumption, which increased due to the late purchasing demand in the summer and the economies opened after the pandemic. Again, we continued to grow in our Mobil 1 Center project. "We have added 10 new Mobil 1 Centers, which are at very good points and with superior service quality, to the Mobil family."
