Çorum Söğütlüevler Junction Signalization Works Completed

Çorum Municipality continues its efforts to ease urban traffic at full speed. Continuing the signaling works for more comfortable and safe urban transportation, the municipality has completed its work at the Söğütlüevler intersection.

Deputy Mayor Lemzi Çöplü stated that they aimed to prevent accidents at the exit of Osmancık overpass, to alleviate the increasing traffic load on the continuation of the road and to increase traffic safety, with the work they carried out at the Osmancık Street and Söğütlüevler Avenue intersection in the Ulukavak District, and said, “With our signalization work, the vehicle density at the bridge exit will decrease. Both the safety of our citizens and the progress of the vehicles will be provided in a more fluid state. In this way, we aim to eliminate the problems in this region. Due to the new commissioning of the intersection signaling system, technical studies are continuing by our Transportation Services Directorate to prevent vehicle queuing at the relevant intersection in the morning going to work and in the evening at peak hours. " he spoke.
