The Bank of China will issue a series of coins and paper notes in circulation this year to commemorate important events.

According to the statement announced on the Central Bank's website, the People's Bank of China (Central Bank) will print coins to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, apart from the coin it issued in memory of the New Year.

It is also stated that two commemorative banknotes are being prepared for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Beijing Winter Olympics are preparing to open their doors on February 4, 2022. Two coins to be minted in memory of the Olympic Games, the arrangement of which was previously envisaged for 2020, will also be issued in 2021.
