Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, opened the Ankara Yenikent-Temelli Road. Karaismailoğlu noted that Yenikent-Temelli Road is a new ring road connecting Eskişehir-Bursa-Afyonkarahisar and İzmir to Ankara.

Minister Karaismailoğlu, important commercial and industrial centers in the west of the country; Eskişehir, Bursa, Afyon and İzmir; He pointed out that Temelli, located on the route connecting Ankara, is a very important transit point for Ankara.

Karaismailoğlu continued his explanations as follows: “Today, we are happy to put the 29-kilometer section of Yenikent-Temelli Road into service. The project includes 8 under-overpass bridges, 3 viaducts, 10 crossroads and 5 roundabouts. With the Yenikent-Temelli Road, the shortest and safest transportation of the industrial centers in the region was ensured, and the density of Ankara Ring Motorway and Ankara inner city traffic was eliminated. In fact, this road is a new ring road connecting Eskişehir-Bursa-Afyonkarahisar and İzmir to Ankara. Access of the region to the South Marmara, Aegean and Western Mediterranean via the Ankara-Eskişehir State Road has become easier. In addition, 150 thousand saplings were planted all along the road and at intersections with the sensitivity of the environment and nature.

By putting the entire Yenikent-Temelli Road into service; Stating that a total of 66 million TL will be saved, including 117,7 million TL from time and 183,7 million TL from fuel, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Annual carbon emission emissions will be reduced by 48 thousand 640 tons. In addition, with the increase in the quality of transportation in the region, new industrial zones will be established and new employment areas will be opened up, ”he said.
