Who is Hasan Pezük?
Hasan Pezük was born in 1970 in Gümüşhane. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Gümüşhane. In 2006, he was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), Department of Technical Affairs, City Lighting and Energy Directorate, and as a Manager in 2009. In 2010, he was appointed as the Deputy Manager of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation - Rail Systems Directorate, and in 2012 as the Rail Systems Manager.
Before Hasan Pezük was appointed to the General Directorate, he was working as the Head of TCDD Modernization Department.
Hasan Pezük, who is 50 years old, carried out successful studies in the Feasibility, Survey, Design and Construction stages of Rail System Projects for most of his professional life. He made very important contributions to the dissemination of Metro and Tram systems in Istanbul.
Hasan Pezük also served as a Board Member of Kültür A.Ş. (2009-2012), İGDAŞ Board of Directors (2012-2017), and a Board Member of KİPTAŞ (2017-2019) at Istanbul İBB Affiliates.
Finally, Hasan Pezük was appointed as the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, replacing Kamuran Yazıcı.
