In the metrobus line, whose number of trips has been increased with the new planning, the name of the last station to be visited will now be written instead of the codes on the signs of the buses in order to prevent the confusion caused by the line numbers. Transfers on the line will also decrease. The application will start on Tuesday, January 26th.

The signs of the 44-station Metrobus line, which has become the main axis of transportation in Istanbul, were updated. IETT General Directorate, one of the affiliated institutions of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), also carried out a study to reduce the transfers on the line in order to provide a more comfortable service to passengers.

Thanks to the new voyage planning, the daily distance traveled was increased by 18 thousand kilometers. It was decided to update the signboards to prevent confusion caused by line numbers at the transfer points and to speed up the operation.

The 34AS and 34BZ codes, which are the most preferred by the passengers using the metrobus line, are now becoming history. Instead of codes such as 34AS, 34G, 34Z, 34BZ, the name of the station will be written on the signs, instead of which station the Metrobus vehicle will go to.

So; Beylikdüzü, Avcılar, CevizliBağ, Bayrampaşa, Zincirlikuyu and Söğütlüçeşme inscriptions will take place on the signs of the metrobus buses. The application will start on Tuesday, January 26th.
