Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, stated that 1 million 428 thousand people applied for the restructuring of SGK premium debts, and that restructuring was made for a debt of 79 billion 24 million TL.
Stating that they aim to alleviate the burden on citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic period by restructuring the SSI premium debts, Minister Selçuk emphasized that they provide the opportunity to restructure the SSI receivables, the original debt of which is 165 billion lira.
Minister Selçuk stated that the SSI premium structuring, which entered into force within the scope of the Law on Restructuring Some Receivables and Amending Some Laws, covers the finalized receivables for the periods of 2020 / August and before.
According to this; insurance premiums, universal health insurance premium, unemployment insurance premium, administrative fines, recourse receivables arising from work accident, occupational disease, invalidity and duty disability, receivables arising from improperly paid income and pensions, and in case of revitalization of previously suspended service periods of Bağ-Kur insured The receivables that will arise will be within the scope of the configuration.
Receivables will be updated with D-PPI instead of delay penalty and increase
With the President's Decree No. 30.12.2020, published in the Official Gazette No. 31350 dated 3343; The application and first payment periods stipulated in Article 7256 and Article 3 (excluding the thirteenth and fourteenth paragraphs) of Law No. 4 have been extended for one month from the end of the periods specified in the aforementioned articles. Thus; Citizens who want to benefit from the configuration will be able to apply until February 1, 2021. The first installment will be paid until March 31, 2021.
In this context, the receivables will be updated with D-PPI instead of the delay penalty and increase. 90 percent of D-PPI calculated in cash payments and 2 percent of payments in 50 installments can be deleted. In addition, for those who prefer to pay in installments, the opportunity to pay in 6,9,12, 18, XNUMX and XNUMX equal installments is offered in two-month periods. In addition, previously applied foreclosures can be lifted in proportion to the payments to be made according to this law.
Bağ-Kur premium debts can be deleted
SSI structuring support brought significant advantages to Bağ-Kur residents. In the event that Bağ-Kur residents who have premium debt do not pay their debts until 01.02.2021 or do not configure them under the structuring law, their premium debts will be suspended and their premium debts will be deleted before 31 October 2020. In addition, if Bağ-Kur insurance holders apply until 01.02.2021 regarding the term of service discontinued by previous laws and pay the original premium debt up to 31.03.2021 over the new amount to be updated with D-PPI, the terminated service periods will be revived.
Ease of Payment for GSS Debts
If the GSS premium debts are paid in cash or in installments until April 30, 2021, the entire delay penalty and increase will be deleted.
Again, among those insured with GSS, if those who have never applied for an income test apply for an income test until March 31, 2021, the GSS premiums will be updated from the start date according to the income test result. As a result of the income test, the premium debts of those who live in the same household and whose income is found to be less than 1/3 of the minimum wage will be deleted and their premiums will be paid by the state.
