The reinforced concrete bridge built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality on the connection road between Körfez district Cumaköy and Derince district Karagöllü neighborhood was completed and opened to traffic. With the bridge built over Koca Stream, which separates the Gulf and Derince districts from each other, the transportation between the two districts has been made more comfortable and easy.

335 METER CONCRETE ROAD

335 meters of concrete road was constructed for the reinforced concrete bridge built on the connection road between Körfez District Cumaköy and Derince District Karagöllü Mahallesi. With the completion of the 32,50 times 11 meter pre-stressed bridge, transportation will be more convenient in Körfez District Cumaköy and Derince District Karagöllü districts.

STREAM RECOVERY STUDY DONE

Before the bridge was built, the vehicle traffic provided by the culvert-type pass began to be made from the bridge with the completion of the reinforced concrete bridge. In the area where 25 thousand cubic meters of excavation work was carried out, 130 tons of iron, 430 cubic meters of stone wall, 1.800 square meters of stone curtain for stream improvement, 2 thousand 150 cubic meters of stone blockage and 500 cubic meters of sub-base were used.
