Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has completed its works at the Station Viaduct, which started to serve a long time ago and was decided to be strengthened as a result of the performance analysis.
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has completed the reinforcement works of the Station Viaduct, which has started to serve a long time ago, connecting Yenişehir and Bağlar districts. At the Station Viaduct, which was decided to be retrofitted as a result of the performance analysis made by the technical staff of the Department of Science, reinforcement works were carried out from A to Z.
Within the scope of "Station Viaduct Strengthening and Repair of Various Bridges", holes were drilled in all columns of the viaduct and ø26 and ø16 reinforcement was connected with epoxy application. C / 40 high strength concrete was used around it. In about 2 months, all damaged columns of the viaduct were strengthened. Head beams were repaired with repair mortar. After the strengthening processes, all surfaces were painted after plastering.
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality used 60 tons of reinforcement and 285 m³ concrete in the reinforcement works of the Station Viaduct. 4000 pieces of 50 cm deep reinforcement shoots were planted horizontally and vertically with epoxy. 500 m² area was repaired with repair mortar.
