What kind of picture did you see when you took office?
We found an atmosphere of complete chaos, abandonment, abandonment. 12 of the 10 rail system projects had stopped. We've come a long way in solving the problems in 12 of 2 projects. They are all under control right now.
Which line was the busiest for you in Istanbul?
Technically, the most challenging was Eminönü-Alibeyköy tram line. Although there was no tunnel construction, it was forced. This is a beach band and has been closed for a very long time. As people were walking, they forgot that there was the sea next door. Due to the ground peculiar to the Golden Horn, we broke and rebuilt the 1.3 km part built due to the collapse and slips in the ground. It has been a closed area since 2016.
