Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç held an investment meeting in which Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center works were evaluated. Büyükkılıç said that they are continuing their efforts to make Erciyes a sought-after ski resort with international features, as well as a camp center, sports center and thermal center.
Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, within the scope of the High Altitude Camp Center studies designed by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality to enable Erciyes to be actively evaluated for 12 months within the scope of Erciyes Master Plan, KASKİ General Manager Assoc. Dr. Özgür Özdemir met with Deputy Secretary General Hamdi Elcuman and department heads at the investment meeting.
Water supply to the camp center was also discussed at the meeting. In his statement at the meeting, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that they are continuing their efforts to make Erciyes a center of sports rather than just being called a ski center for three or four months and said, “In this context, we have implemented football fields in our 2 High Altitude Camp Centers. We have handed it over to the owners and it continues to work. Of course, when there was an intense demand, we decided to carry out and increase our work in order to serve the potential here by building 6 more fields.

Büyükkılıç, stating that they also evaluated 'what can we do' for water supply in cooperation with KASKİ in order to meet the water need in the camp center to be built here, said: “Our aim is to try to present our Erciyes in a way that meets the expectations of the public rather than just a ski resort. You will appreciate that in this context, we also continue our work on the thermal dimension. In accordance with the protocol we have made with MTA, our work here continues at full speed. I hope we believe and hope that we will reach hot water after 3-4 months. In this regard, we pray and wish so that Allah does not put him in trouble. We take good intentions, we work in good faith. "

Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “To present the tourism potential of Kayseri, ski center, thermal and high-altitude sports center to the service of humanity”, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We hope that we will enrich it even more with the gymnasium we will build here and the indoor Olympic swimming pool project supported by our Ministry of Youth and Sports.
