In the motion brought to the agenda by Mayor Büyükkılıç, in order to reduce the negative effects of Kovid-19 restrictions on ski tourism in Erciyes, to prevent foreign tourists coming to the city from canceling their reservations, and to ensure the continuation of the trips, tour operators, tourism agencies, hotel businesses, in each ticket category as of January 11, 2021. A 50 percent discount was requested for purchases of 50 or more.
The motion was unanimously approved by the members of the council. Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, said that Erciyes Ski Center, which offers a ski guarantee with 18 state-of-the-art mechanical facilities, 34 different ski slopes of 102 kilometers in total and 154 artificial snow machines, welcomes its domestic and foreign guests on weekdays, the decision taken in the Metropolitan Municipality Council is beneficial, wished it was auspicious.
Mayor Büyükkılıç once again reminded the important decisions taken in the parliament in addition to the decision regarding the Erciyes Ski Center, “We have always been with our tradesmen in the Covid -19 outbreak. We will give a 50% discount to our tenants in our municipal property. I would like to state that the cost of our support to our municipality is over 2. 3 million TL.
