For this purpose, Afyonkarahisar Municipality, which rents the real estate in the area of Afyon City Station, owned by the State Railways, will live the archery, which is an ancestor sport, in this building.
With the decision of the Municipal Council, the real estate with a total area of 1287 m4 in Çetinkaya Mahallesi, 2.670,75 Island, Plot 2, located on the Afyonşehir Station Site, owned by TCDD, was rented by our municipality for 10 years in order to transfer "Ata Sports Archery to future generations and encourage sports" .
The Assembly, in this regard, contract, protocol, construction, repair and modification, etc. It authorized our Mayor Mehmet Zeybek to sign a contract / protocol on matters.
In this context; Our Mayor Mehmet Zeybek stated that they will meet traditional sports and increase sports opportunities for a healthy life with archery courses in the said building and said, “We attach importance to bring traditional sports together with our people. With this understanding, we will create a new opportunity and open our ancestor sport archery course in Afyonkarahisar. Our citizens will take courses on archery here and there will be a special interest in archery, our horse sport. "This building will be an important work for keeping our traditional and ancestral sports alive and contributing to amateur sports. .
