renovation work in Turkey's most important airports located between Trabzon Airport runway lighting system was completed.
The lighting system and cables on the runway were renewed by closing the flight traffic between 20 in the morning and 08.00 in the evening due to the lighting works that started on October 18.00 at Trabzon Airport. Having decided to renew its lighting systems with the decrease in the number of passengers due to the Corona virus (Covid19), which affects the whole world, DHMI completed the works within the specified time.
Work started on 17.30 October 24 at Trabzon Airport, which will be opened to serve 20 hours again at 2020 tomorrow. Trabzon Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu stated that the works are completed at this stage and the test works are continuing and the airport will start to serve 17.30 hours as of 24 tomorrow.
