Taking its signature A380 experience to the next level, Emirates unveils its new Premium Economy cabin product on its latest A380 aircraft, which has been upgraded and has a renewed look.

Emirates Airline Chief Sir Tim Clark said in a statement: “The Emirates A380 has been one of the top travel experiences in the sky and we have now made it even better. While other airlines save money, we, as Emirates, are working hard to bring new services and improvements to the products and services we have suspended and organized due to pandemic measures. The airline will pick up its newest A380 aircraft this week from Airbus' Hamburg facility, while the remaining 5 A380 orders will be delivered in premium economy cabins in 2021 and 2022. Emirates' premium economy seats will also be featured on some of the Boeing 2023Xs scheduled to join the fleet in 777. Emirates plans to retrofit its existing A380 fleet as well.

Premium Economy: Comfort and Wellbeing

Emirates unveiled details of the highly anticipated premium economy cabin. The 2-4-2 shaped cabin has 56 seats.

With a wide seat range of up to 102cm, Emirates' premium economy seat is 49,5cm wide, can be a comfortable bed with a 20cm tilt and offers ample space to lie down. Seats with a Business Class-like wooden panel covering, with cream-colored leather upholstery and stitching details, 6-way adjustable headrests, leg and foot resting platforms are designed to offer comfort and support.

The largest 13.3 ”screen in economy class is used on each seat to enjoy music, movies, TV and more on Emirates' award-winning platform, ice.

Passengers will also receive thoughtful touches such as easily accessible in-seat charging points, a large dining table and a side cocktail table.

The Emirates Premium Economy, which has two passenger toilets, is located in the front of the main body of the aircraft.

First Class: More Private Space and More Luxury

On Emirates' new A380 aircraft, the airline's 14 exclusive First Class suites were also renovated with wider and longer doors for more privacy and comfort than the original suites.

From the spiral staircase to the upper floor from the main body of the plane to the renovated decorative elements and modern accessories in the Shower Spa, cabin details were renewed with new motifs and colors.

Business Class: New Luxury Skins

All 76 seats were refreshed with champagne-colored leather upholstery and wood trim inspired by executive jets, similar to the Business Class on Emirates' Boeing 777 Gamechanger aircraft.

Economy: Game Changing Seats

Emirates replaced the 380 Economy seats on its new A338 aircraft with ergonomic seats with all leather headrests and flexible side panels that can be adjusted vertically for optimal support.

This new seat model offers a further development of the current version on Emirates' Boeing 777 Gamechanger aircraft. The folding tables in each seat feature a stylish wood grain finish and a 13.3 ”personal display for enjoying Emirates' award-winning platform, ice.

Renewed cabin interior design

The interior of the Emirates A380 is a clean and fresh champagne color with wooden panels and bronze details used in the interior design of Emirates' latest Boeing 777 Gamechanger aircraft, along with design touches such as passengers, new trims and the Ghaf (prosopis cineraria) tree motif. they will see their shades.

Ghaf, an evergreen plant native to the region, is considered the national tree of the United Arab Emirates, has a deep cultural and ecological significance.
