Elazig Street Is In Service With Its Renewed Face

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, which rearranged 25 intersections in order to reduce the traffic density of the city, completed the bicycle path, median, landscape, asphalt and signalization system works on Elazig Street and opened the road with its renewed face.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, which rearranged 25 intersections in order to make the intersections in accordance with the determined standards and reduce the traffic density of the city with the decision of the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), completed the works it carried out on Elazig Street. On Elazığ Street, one of the most important axes of the city that connects other central districts to the historical Sur district, the Departments of Building Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination, Transportation, Park, Garden and Green Areas, working together, opened the street to the service of the citizens with its renewed face.

Building Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination Department, bicycle path on Elazığ Street, median on connection roads, asphalt paving and pavement Transportation Department carried out signalization studies. After the completion of the infrastructure works, the Park Garden and Green Areas Department started a landscape study on the street. In order for the street to have a more aesthetic appearance, the teams planted winter seasonal flowers in the medians.
