In order to raise service standards in the field of public transportation and increase citizen satisfaction, 2020 face-to-face and online training programs for personnel working in EGO buses and rail systems have been completed.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality General Directorate of EGO and Turkey Union of Municipalities (TBB) Municipal Academy of cooperation realized with the EGO transportation and security personnel by 2020 in-service training programs December 08, 2020 the day has been completed. The in-service training application, which started as face-to-face training in February 2020, continued online through the TBB Distance Education Center due to the coronavirus pandemic. A total of 2 thousand 532 personnel, including 786 thousand 3 drivers working in the Department of Bus Operations and 318 security guards working in the Department of Transportation Planning and Rail Systems, benefited from the training programs aimed at raising service standards and increasing citizen satisfaction and improving corporate culture.

The trainings in February 2020 were carried out in the campuses of the Bus Operation Department of the Bus Operation Department on "Behavior Types, Provincial Action Plan for Combating Violence Against Women, Rules That Drivers Are Obliged to Follow Under the Contract, Complaints Received in Capital 153".

The first of the fall term distance learning programs started on October 19, 2020 with the participation of 255 driver personnel. Between 19-23 October, with the title of "Effective Communication", Prof. Dr. Şefika Şule Erçetin, with the topic "Communication with the Citizen", during 9-13 November. Gülsüm Gülnaz Gültekin and between 16-20 November with the topic of "Institutionalism and Mission Awareness", Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı met with 2532 EGO transportation personnel online. Between 30 November and 08 December 2020, 786 security guards working at the EGO Transportation Planning and Rail System Department were given six-day distance training with the same topics.

In the trainings held in the form of two sessions a day, technical support was provided for the personnel with insufficient technological infrastructure, and the personnel who could not attend the training during their registered period were given the opportunity to complete the training in one of the other repeated programs.

EGO Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak, who emphasized the importance of these trainings by making an opening speech in almost all of the distance education programs, expressed that they are very pleased with the decrease of negative feedbacks and the increase in thank-you messages to Başkent 153 in recent analyzes. Stating that the increasing positive feedback demonstrates the value of investing in education once again, Tekbudak said that he is grateful to everyone who strives to increase the quality of service in EGO, especially the participants.
