Uzungöl Will Be Made More Attractive For Tourism

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu made observations about the work done in Uzungöl.

Mayor Zorluoğlu said, “Today we are in Uzungöl, one of the most important tourism centers of our city and country. Since the day we took office, as Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, we have been working diligently to make more investments in Uzungöl and to make it more attractive for tourism. Last year, we gave importance to infrastructure works and in this context, we solved the problems of the region such as sewage and treatment. This year we headed towards the superstructure. Within the scope of the projects we have prepared with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, we transform Uzungöl into a place where our visitors can relax, have fun and spend time much more comfortably. We made the sidewalk arrangements and pavement railing arrangements that would allow the entire lake to travel around easily. We carry out landscape arrangements. I hope that right after New Year's Eve, the area around the lake will be opened to our citizens with the second big project, ”he said.

WE WILL BUILD THE PARKING

Mayor Zorluoğlu also stated that Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality has not physically existed in Uzungöl until today and said, “We, as the Metropolitan Municipality, received the allocation of the park located here from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization this year. And I hope that from next season, the Metropolitan Municipality will exist as an operator and as a regulatory and supervisory institution. We also want to be in Uzungöl with our 7/24 police. Here, we will take the necessary measures regarding illegal construction, the order and order of the tradesmen and the inspection. In the project that we will do within the scope of the 2nd stage, we will have built a large parking lot at the entrance of Uzungöl and one in the area we call the exit of Uzungöl. We will continue to work for a better Uzungöl and a better Trabzon ”.
