Following the opening of the important winter tourism centers of Turkey's Erciyes Ski Center ski season in Kayseri, 200 people came to foreign tourists by charter flights from the Ukraine.
Saying “Erciyes is our pride”, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that Erciyes made a voice in the world with its safe ski resort certificate, “I welcome our guests from Ukraine. I hope they have a happy and peaceful holiday ”.
Erciyes Mountain, which has become an international center with its world-class tracks, state-of-the-art equipment, solid infrastructure and transportation facilities, became the center of attention of foreign tourists when it was certified as a safe ski center during the pandemic process. With the charter flights that started as of this week, the first tourist group of 200 people from Ukraine came to Erciyes.
Noting that Erciyes Mountain has unique features in the world, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Our Erciyes Ski Resort has been given the Safe Ski Resort certificate by Bureau Veritas, which has been operating for 193 years and is the most competent international organization on a global scale. Erciyes became the first and only ski resort in the world to receive this certificate. I always say that Erciyes is our pride. We opened our ski season. We will be waiting for our guests from abroad. This week, our group of 200 people came from Ukraine. I say welcome to our city.
I wish to leave happily spend a lovely holiday in Turkey within the scope of pandemic measures and promote our city's best ski resorts in the places they visit. From now on, charter scheduled flights to Russia, Ukraine and Poland will continue every week during the season.
