Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, explained that regardless of the test results of patients receiving Covid 19 treatment, the health expenses under the Health Implementation Communiqué (SUT) are covered by the Social Security Institution (SGK). Minister Selçuk also shared the information that health institutions will also be paid pandemic care fees in this context.
Reminding that the pandemic care service was included in the reimbursement list by the SSI as of April 1, 2020, Minister Selçuk reminded that the patients who were hospitalized in the service were paid by the SGK only in pandemic cases (PCR test positive), and patients who were hospitalized in the intensive care unit, regardless of whether they had coronavirus or not.
Minister Selçuk, regarding the new regulation made within the scope of pandemic care service, "As of December 1, 2020, we pay pandemic care service, regardless of whether the PCR test is positive, if the verification codes of patients who are hospitalized and treated with COVID-19 are transmitted to the Medula System via e-Pulse." said.
Selçuk informed that the pandemic care service will be paid in cases where the PCR test was positive or received COVID-19 treatment even if the PCR test was negative, treated by being hospitalized by the SSI.
