With the implementation of the Talas-Furkan Doğan line after the Belsin Anafartalar line, all parts of the city will be included in the transportation network with iron networks.
Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Reminding that the 5.5-kilometer Talas Homeland Tram Line project will be tendered on Wednesday, December 30, Memduh Büyükkılıç said that the rail system line will reach 48 kilometers with the completion of the project.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the 7-kilometer Anafartalar - City Hospital - YHT Gar Tram Line, which was designed by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and to be built by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, was held that day. Mayor Büyükkılıç expressed his happiness that the tender for the 5.5-kilometer Talas Homeland line will be held on December 30, and said, “In the past months, we laid the foundation of the 7-kilometer rail system line between Belsin Anafartalar and YHT Gar, which was designed by our Metropolitan Municipality, with the participation of our ministers. At the groundbreaking ceremony of the new tram line project, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu became partners in Kayseri's happiness in huge transportation projects. We thank them once again. That line, on which the works continue devotedly, will extend to Anafartalar, Intercity Bus Terminal, Kayseri City Hospital, Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Mobilyakent and high speed train station and will provide great convenience to our people. At that time, we gave Talas the good news, and we are happy to hold the tender for the 5.5-kilometer Talas Homeland line on December 30, ”he said.
Stating that the 35-kilometer rail system line in Kayseri will reach 48 kilometers with the commissioning of the Belsin Anafartalar and Talas Anayurt projects, Büyükkılıç said, “Let the human live, let the state live. We equip our Kayseri with a tram network and offer more comfortable, safer and faster transportation to our citizens.
