Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç took place as a speaker at the “Environment and Urbanization Panel” with Murat Kurum, the Minister of Environment and Urban Planning, and Deputy Minister Fatma Varank. Our city is also known for its 6-year-old commercial and cultural history, with the way that trade is literally ingrained in our genes. I am a tradesman child, my deceased father had wholesale grocery store, we were engaged in trade in that respect, although we were a doctor, we were deputies and mayors of the metropolitan municipality, before we served in Melikgazi for 20 years and were intertwined with our city. We are processing a process that knows and knows our city and exhibits horizon-generating approaches. Kayseri is lucky in terms of being a municipality. An understanding that is based on continuity, like our mayors and elders who have served as mayors until this time, and that adds even more beauty to our city with the process initiated by our President in Istanbul and our team in Kayseri, 94 municipalities for us. We continue our work day and night to make more contribution. I would like to share that in Kayseri, which has a commercial history of 6 thousand years, we have not ignored trade and industry as well as cultural and tourism studies recently.

Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that the Erciyes project is an indispensable project and said, “We have achieved a first in such a project, which is our pride and initiated by our Minister Mehmet Özhaseki, by obtaining an international security certificate. We are working on High Altitude Sports Center and hot water to develop it further. We started the season as of December 15 in Erciyes, which will become a center of attraction. Hopefully, we will provide the necessary opportunity and service to all our guests coming from abroad, especially Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, with charter flights as of December 19 at our Erciyes Ski Resort. Our aim is to provide services without taking shelter in excuses and ignoring the rules in the pandemic. Our ski center is ready. We will turn our direction towards Kayseri, not west. Kayseri is a center of attraction, a city of universities, a livable and planned city, a city that is not a burden, but a city of philanthropists, ”he said.
Büyükkılıç stated that they are environmentally friendly and caring about green in their urban transformation works and that they are implementing green areas two-thirds, and that the environmentalist project will suit Kayseri with the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Garden of 1 million 260 thousand square meters ongoing.
