Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, “Muğla Bodrum İçmeler, Kızılağaç, Çiftlik Yali, Torba Neighborhoods Sewerage Lines and Connected Infrastructure Facilities Construction Work ”project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Ersoy stated that they were involved in the construction of infrastructure works, which were originally the subject of metropolitan municipalities, in 2019, as a ministry, in accordance with the instruction of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to 'support in cases where municipalities are inadequate'.
Stating that an arrangement was made in the Tourism Incentive Law numbered 2634 in the first stage, Minister Ersoy reminded that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was given the authority to treat, build, take over and operate the infrastructures.
Stating that the first application came from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality after the legal regulation, Minister Ersoy said, “They applied to us for the construction of sewerage, collector and infrastructure treatment facilities in Belek and Kadriye tourism regions in the Serik region. We started this investment with a capacity of 63 thousand cubic meters per day at the end of 2019 and brought the investment to an end very quickly. I hope we will implement this investment of 2021 million lira in April 250. " he spoke.
Reminding that the second application came from the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and a protocol was signed in September, Minister Ersoy emphasized that they carried out the groundbreaking ceremony before the end of the year, as they promised by making the tender in November.
Pointing out that the project is an initial investment of 250 million lira, Minister Ersoy said:
“We are planning to complete the first part of this investment in 9 months in September. In the third application, he came from Antalya Kemer region. We started feasibility studies there as well. With an investment of 250 million, we will meet the treatment and infrastructure problems of the Kemer region and its surroundings. We will complete a 42-kilometer line in Bodrum. İçmeler We will connect these lines by demolishing the existing treatment facility in the region. In the first stage, we will rebuild a treatment area of 20 thousand cubic meters. As soon as this is completed, we will destroy the old treatment system and put into use a new treatment system of 17 thousand cubic meters. In other words, by increasing the treatment system of 10 thousand cubic meters to 37 thousand cubic meters in this region, we will meet all the capacity that this region will need for the next 50 years. This project will be completed by the end of 250 by spending approximately 2021 million liras. "
Reminding that they commissioned the first stage of Bodrum Castle and the Kaleiçi Stage in 2019, Minister Ersoy noted that, as they promised last year, they completed the second stage works in May, and that they will complete the last stage in May 2021.
