Malatya Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to solve the problem of transportation and traffic, which has been troubled for many years. Mayor Gürkan, who visited the Metropolitan teams that started to transform the Dilek Intersection in Yeşiltepe into a smart intersection in a modern way, said, “Our intersections built both at the transportation point and at the traffic point will find a solution to the bleeding problem of Malatya with intensive work. ''

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction of modern intersections and roads in order to ease transportation and traffic. Mayor Gürkan, who examined the works of the Road and Infrastructure Coordination Directorate and the Transportation Services Department at the Dilek Crossroad, received information from the relevant authorities.

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan stated that the Dilek Intersection in Yeşiltepe region will be connected with the North Belt Road after the smart intersection works. Mayor Gürkan said, “The teams of our Metropolitan Municipality work with great devotion on a 7/24 basis. We have examined the applications at the Dilek Junction, located in the Yeşiltepe region, where the services continue intensively. Modern smart intersection built will relieve the traffic. In this region, there were accidents with material damage and sometimes loss of life. In this sense, our friends are working hard to make this place a smart intersection and to integrate it with the North Belt Road. When we took office, the first problem we encountered in Malatya was traffic and transportation. With the work we have done, a certain standard has been reached in terms of traffic, transportation, the quality and quality of the roads. These studies will continue towards the upper segment. I would like to thank the Road and Infrastructure Department teams and the Transportation Services Department teams who carried out these studies.
