Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality has decided to extend the free public transportation right for healthcare workers, our most important heroes in the fight against corona virus, until 31 March 2021.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which implements many measures in accordance with the Corona Virus Fight Action Plan and continues to warn citizens about masks, distance and hygiene, continues to support healthcare professionals, the heroes of the pandemic. According to the decision taken after the meetings with Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Health, health personnel working in private and public sector will benefit from public transportation free of charge until 31 March 2021. Stating that they have provided free transportation to healthcare professionals since March 2020, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen said, “I believe that we will overcome the pandemic in unity and solidarity. I trust our healthcare professionals who work devotedly in this process. I would like to thank once again and thank our healthcare personnel who have entrusted our lives and worked for us without tiring for months with intense efforts. In order to reduce the burden of our healthcare professionals, we extended the decision of using free public transport until March 31, 2021 and we will continue to be with them at all times ”.
