Birleşik Taşımacılık Employees' Union (BTS), regarding the first export train that will carry export products to China, TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. announced that they filed a criminal complaint against their managers.
The statement from BTS is as follows; “The train sent off at Kazlıçeşme Station with the participation of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure on December 4, 2020 is not a Chinese train. The real Chinese train is the one that passed through Marmaray on December 6th.
The truth is that; On Friday, December 4, 2020, the freight train, which is said to depart for China, traveled approximately 160 km in total and reached Istanbul Maltepe, and all the flags and banners were collected. Halkalıto and from there Çerkezköywas brought back to.

TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. The management accepted that it harmed the public institution, victimized the citizens and played with public health for the sake of a ceremony, instead of doing the necessary, it made statements and social media posts in a completely opposite manner.
TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. management, as the facts revealed, determined our union BTS as a target for itself and launched an intense attack against our union members and managers.
First, TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş., which initiated irregular and illegal investigations against the executives of our union. management, then our Union Secretary General, machinist İsmail Özdemir and our Legal Secretary, the mechanic, Aziz Mustafa Şimşek, to judicial decisions that were previously considered jurisprudence and to article 4688 of Law No. They cannot be subjected to a different procedure and their duties cannot be dismissed due to their participation in the activities specified in this Law) by taking them from their duties in the trains and wrote a warehouse duty.

Our union members and employees have been working hard and sweating for years in order to turn the wheel on the railways and increase the freight and passenger transportation. Increased transportation, rail transportation to China, first of all, please us, the railway workers. Our point of view is clear: we want and support the increase in freight and passenger transport as an organization of workers.
However, no one should expect us to remain silent about the practices that shake the seriousness of our institutions and cause public harm, and to tell the facts to the public. Especially, no one should think that they will silence us by repression, exile and crime!
BTS concluded their statement as follows:
Our union, which took the ceremony train on December 04, 2020 to 320 kilometers in vain in total, passed Marmaray twice, caused the cancellation of 2 Marmaray trains and delayed many of them, endangered the health of the people of Istanbul under pandemic conditions, and caused public harm and the public suffering.
