The work initiated by Izmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan for the cable car of Hürriyet Izmit was approved by the parliament and sent to the commission. The project, which has been worked on for months, was sent back to the commission in the November assembly.
Güzin Taştekin took the floor after the decision of the agenda item to go to the commission; “A report came to the commission last weekend. The ropeway is a top-down or bottom-up system all over the world. I have a 90-page report. In this 90-page report, there are a lot of unrelated items, only 19 of which are very unnecessary in the rest of the ropeway. On page 44, it is called an investment that will be realized as soon as possible. Is the cost of 6 million Euros meant by the most appropriate and attractive? ” touched on his statements.
Speaking on the subject, President Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet said, “We have been a foundation together with you, without conducting a technical review of the incoming report, as the report is expected as soon as possible. We immediately submitted it to the commission so that we could examine it immediately. This has come out in unison. Let's evaluate it technically with the participation of all our friends. Is it true or not? Of course, we cannot accept all the opinions given by the company. We will evaluate the metropolitan authorities together. We accelerated the matter because the commission is waiting insistently. If there are any deficiencies, they will be determined and evaluated ”.
The agenda item, which includes the transfer of 1 million 800 thousand in kind to the company SARBAŞ, which currently has a capital of 2 million 200 thousand TL, was unanimously sent to the commission. The transfer of the right of use of enterprises such as İzmit Municipality Yeni Cuma Çay Bahçesi and Gülümse Cafe to increase the capital in kind will be discussed in the commission and will come to the parliament in December.
