Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport has received the certificate issued by the International Airports Council (ACI World) that determines the pandemic measures.


Operated by TAV Airports, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport met the relevant criteria and received the “Airport Health Accreditation” created by ACI World for safe travel during the pandemic period.

TAV Ege General Manager Erkan Balcı said, “Aviation operates with rules that are strictly regulated all over the world and valid on a global scale. Although the governments are seriously affected by the pandemic due to the closing of their borders, aviation is among the sectors that adapt to the new regulations fastest. Since March, we have fully implemented the measures determined by the authorities to protect the health of our employees and passengers at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
