Çakırözer brought up the accidents in the railways in the budget negotiations of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure at the TBMM Plan and Budget Commission. Çakırözer asked Minister Karaismailoğlu to punish the rulers who had responsibility in the land.
Reminding that TCDD General Manager, deputy general directors and heads of departments were responsible for the high-speed train (YHT) accident in Ankara, Çakırözer told Minister Karaismailoğlu, “The lower-level railway employees who are on trial in the massacre in Çorlu are not responsible, the general manager, It was determined that deputy general managers and some department heads were responsible. Don't you intend to save on these top executives who are responsible? ” she asked.
CHP's Çakırözer, also regarding the changes in duty in TCDD, said: “We see such things that there are exiles to presidents, vice presidents, regional directors, station managers, deputies, and toll station officials. Has the government changed? What are these personnel exiles ”he said.
Stating that the dismissals in the institution are experienced as if the power has changed, Çakırözer said, “We think that even when the power changes, merit should be considered, but we see such things that presidents, vice presidents, regional directors, station managers, deputies, box office clerks, and they are exiled. Again, it was determined that the lower-level railway workers on trial were not responsible, and that the general manager, deputy general managers and some heads of departments were responsible. These rulers came to the public agenda by sacrificing victims instead of taking measures.
