With the work prepared in cooperation with Bilecik Municipality and the Bilecik Representation of the Cyclists Association, shared bicycle path surface and vertical marking work was carried out on the busy streets and streets of the city.
With the decision of the Provincial Traffic Commission, Tevfikbey and Cumhuriyet Streets were determined as shared bicycle paths in the first place by Bilecik Municipality and the Bilecik Representation of the Cyclists Association.
With the work carried out within the scope of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization Regulation on Bicycle Roads, it is aimed to provide healthy and safe transportation for cyclists along with vehicles.
The project, which has important goals such as minimizing the transportation density in the city and transferring a healthy and clean environment to future generations, aims to reduce the speed and number of motor vehicles, reduce carbon emissions, and encourage our citizens to prefer cyclical transportation by increasing mobility.
The use of vehicles and bicycles can be carried out together on the streets and streets determined by the surface and vertical marking works carried out by the Bilecik Municipality Science Affairs Directorate teams.
The support of all vehicle drivers to the work carried out to raise awareness of motor vehicle drivers towards those who travel by bicycle will provide safe and healthy transportation for cyclists.
