Some bovine and ovine animals were registered by wearing earrings, and changes were made in the notification periods of animals entering and leaving the enterprise.

The Regulation on the Amendment of the "Regulation on the Identification, Registration and Monitoring of Sheep and Goat Animals" and the "Regulation on the Identification, Registration and Monitoring of Bovine Animals" of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.

With the arrangement, the period of registration by wearing earrings has been increased from 3 months to 6 months for cattle breeds, and from 9 months to 6 year for sheep and goat animals (pastures and nomads from 1 months).

The Provincial Animal Health Police Commission was authorized to tag animals of all ages regardless of their identification period.

The notification period, which was 7 days, was increased to 30 days for animal entry-exit or purchase-sale by animal owners.

On the other hand, the Ministry's Regulation on Identification and Transport of Migratory Animals was published and entered into force.

Accordingly, the migratory animal dispatch route will be determined by the Provincial Animal Health Police Commission. A single veterinary health report will be sufficient for departure and return on the route determined for migratory animal dispatches.

In order to protect human and animal health, the Ministry may impose partial or full restrictions on migratory animal shipments when necessary.

The Ministry's "Regulation on the Amendment of the Regulation on the Transport of Live Animals and Animal Products in the Country" entered into force.

Administrative fines were imposed per animal for animals that were previously found to be brought into the business without documentation. With the amendment, a penalty will be imposed per animal for animals that are found to be uncertified during transport, and per business for animals that are detected to be brought to the enterprise without a certificate after transport, and will be registered to enterprises.
