Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “We met with the dynamics of our aviation industry and listened to their demands. "We will continue our support to take the necessary measures for the sector to exit the fight against the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) without much being affected."
Ministers Karaismailoğlu, Turkey Private Aviation Enterprises Association (TÖSHİD) Chairman Mehmet Tevfik Nane and accompanying board members agreed to his office.
Karaismailoğlu, while listening to the delegation's requests for the sector, said that they stand by the aviation industry and their support will continue, as before.
Reminding that despite the Kovid-19 epidemic, which has affected the whole world, they have been working seriously in every field and that the investments continue within the framework of the measures taken, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that they have taken measures as the Ministry and they are doing their best to prevent the aviation sector from being affected by the process.
Stating that they are aware of the difficulties experienced by the sector due to the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic, Karaismailoğlu said, “We came together with the dynamics of our aviation industry and listened to their demands. "We will continue our support by taking the necessary measures to ensure that the sector is not affected by this coronavirus struggle."
We will evaluate the support that can be given to the sector with the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Lütfi Elvan and the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, regarding the measures to be taken and the supports to be provided for the sector. In this period, we will do our best as the state. I hope we will get rid of this epidemic that affects the world as soon as possible, ”he said.

Mehmet Tevfik Nane, Chairman of the Board of TÖSHİD, noted that the state is always with them and said, “As the aviation industry, we conveyed the process we are going through to our Minister and presented our demands. We are one of the sectors affected by the epidemic. During this period, we have always seen the support of our state with us. We had a meeting with our President before. We thank our President and Minister for their support. I hope we will overcome this troublesome process altogether ”.
