Within the scope of the "One Rent One Home" campaign, 5-month rental support was started to be paid to the people of Izmir who lost their homes in the earthquake. Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerHe said that the supporters will pay the rent support as soon as possible to all families determined within the scope of the campaign.

According to the Kandilli Observatory, after the 6,9 magnitude Aegean earthquake, payments were initiated in the "One Rent One Home" campaign, which brought earthquake victims together and those who wanted to support them. A total of 529 million 5 thousand TL was paid to 290 families by the supporters.

Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer, thanking everyone who supported the earthquake victims within the scope of the campaign, underlined that the campaign is still ongoing. Expressing that they expect new support to the campaign, the President Tunç Soyer, said that the support within the scope of the campaign has started to reach the earthquake victims of Izmir. President Soyer stated that they gave priority to citizens whose houses were completely demolished and said, “In line with the lists we received from AFAD, my teammates make sure that the rent subsidies are deposited into the bank accounts of our fellow citizens whose names are determined by examining them.” Emphasizing that this support will be delivered as quickly as possible to those in need who have applied to the campaign, President Soyer said, “There is no difficulty that we cannot overcome together. We will get through these days, hand in hand, with solidarity," he said.
