Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı A.Ş. made a net profit of 3 million Euros in the third quarter.

The statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) is as follows: “Health concerns and travel restrictions related to COVID-19 continue to negatively affect the travel trend, especially to the outside. Pegasus achieved one of the most significant recoveries in the sector in 3Q, with 2019% capacity and 52% occupancy rate compared to 76. 3Q domestic line capacity reached 2019% compared to the same period of 96, with an occupancy rate of 81%, 3,11 million guests were transported to the domestic line. With a decline in the number of guests and weaker unit revenue, 3Q sales revenue was € 72 million, down 181% from last year. Tight control over costs continued, 59% reduction in fixed cash costs. In 3Q, EBITDA was 55 million euros (30,1% margin), while a net profit of 27 million euros was recorded. Reversals and foreign exchange gains recorded from forward-looking losses on fuel hedge contracts had an impact on the net profit.
