The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Karaismailoğlu, announced that the place was delivered for the construction of the tram line to Kocaeli City Hospital. The tender for the City Hospital Tram Line, which was transferred to the Ministry of Transport by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, was held on September 17th. Adil Karaismailoğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, in his speech at the weekend mass opening ceremony, announced that they made the site delivery on October 30 and that the company will start the works as soon as possible.
Kocaeli City Hospital, which was founded in 2015 and could not be completed for 5 years, will host 1218 different hospitals with a bed capacity of 6. The Eze Construction company, which won the tender with 284 million, will build a 3,1-kilometer-long line consisting of 5 stations. In addition to the road connection, 39 passengers will be transported daily by tram to the hospital. The tram line will end in 2022.
