How can you recover wireless headphones that fall on train tracks?

In oTokyo, about a thousand wireless headphones fell on the train tracks in three months. To solve this new problem that has arisen in recent years, Panasonic has built a vacuum cleaner that pulls the headphones from the narrow places between the rails with finger-sized vacuums.

Although wireless headphones are becoming more common, they are another source of concern for users. Many people are afraid of dropping their wireless headset somewhere that would be difficult to recover. Panasonic, who took action on the falling of headphones on train tracks in Japan, developed a special vacuum cleaner with JR East railway company. This broom makes it easy to recover the wireless headset falling on the rails.

Railroad workers often use old-fashioned mechanical grippers to rescue headphones and other items that have fallen onto the rails. While these holders are enough to save large items, they do have trouble gripping the small earphones.

Panasonic has partnered with JR East for a vacuum cleaner-style device that is said to be much better suited to picking up earbuds falling on the rails. According to the information provided by JR East, there were 78 earphone drops at 950 stations affiliated to the company in the third quarter of the year. This gives a clue as to how useful the device developed with Panasonic can be. It can be easily said that this extraordinary broom will be quite functional in other countries. The device is being tested at the Ikebukuro station, a major center in the north of Tokyo.
