HES Code Period Begins in Mersin Public Transport Vehicles

Mersin Metropolitan Municipality provided the integration of HEPP, the application of the Ministry of Health, with personalized travel cards in accordance with the circular sent by the Ministry of Interior to the governorships.

People with COVID-19 diagnosis or contacts will not be able to use public transport. Administrative sanctions will also be imposed on those who are detected to be using it. As of November 13, citizens who do not have a HES code and do not integrate them with transportation cards will not be able to benefit from public transportation.

Integration will be done from "hes.mersin.bel.tr"

Citizens using Metropolitan's public transportation vehicles need to integrate personalized travel cards with the HES code. Citizens who use the metropolitan public transportation vehicles, who are not diagnosed with coronavirus and who have a non-contact card will be able to visit hes.mersin.bel.tr and follow the necessary steps and integrate the bus travel cards with the HES code. Citizens entering this address will be able to perform the integration by entering the HES code, TR ID number / passport number, transportation card or ticket number on the screen that opens.

Those who do not have HEPP code will not be able to use public transport as of 13 November

Thanks to this integration, personal travel cards of the contacts will be automatically suspended during the isolation period. The person diagnosed with or in contact with COVID-19 will thus not be able to use public transport. Administrative sanctions will also be imposed on those who are detected to be using it. As of November 13, 2020, citizens who do not have a HES code and do not integrate them with transportation cards will not be able to benefit from public transportation.

How to get HES code?

Citizens who have not been diagnosed with coronavirus and have not been in contact, but have not received a HES code to date, will first receive a HES code if they want to use public transportation vehicles of the Metropolitan. Citizens with smart phones will be able to download HES (Hayat Eve Sığar) application to their phones and receive HES code through the application. The Hayat Eve Sığar application will be entered in the "HES Code Transactions" section. By clicking the "Generate HES Code" button, the code usage period will be selected and the code will be created.

If the citizens who want to get HES code via text message write HES and leave a space between them, write the last 4 digits of the Turkish ID Serial Number and the sharing period as the number of days and send a text message to 2023, their HES Codes will be sent to their phones as a text message.
